The Architecture of Tibet on Nepal Tibet Bhutan Tour

Tibet is a country that covers most of the parts of the Tibetan plateau and it falls in modern-day China. The Tibetan people use it as their traditional Homeland and there are some other ethnic groups also in Tibet like Monpa, Sherpa, Qiang, Lhoba and Tamang peoples. There are some important inhabitants called Hui people and Han Chinese. All these are very interesting names for me and I started getting excited on Nepal Tibet Bhutan tour.

Ethnic groups of peoples in Tibet

All these names were very new for me when I went to Tibet and came to know about them. I wanted to know more about them I asked my guide and then he told me Monpa were the people from the ethnic group of Arunachal Pradesh, a state located in the North-Eastern part of India. Monpa peoples are also counted among one of the 56 ethnic groups in China who are officially recognized. Tamang people are the largest ethnic group in Tibet. They are the ethnic groups of Indian Gorkhas and Nepali peoples. If we talk about the Qiang people, this is an ethnic group in China. It is also one of the recognized groups like monpa. Loha people are the snow Tibetan speaking tribal people. They live in Pemako. It is a region in the South-Eastern part of Tibet. Sherpa people belong to an ethnic group of Nepal.

The architecture

The architecture of birth has a very strong influence on China and India. We all know about the consistent impact and approach of Buddhism on Nepal Tibet and Bhutan. Many places in Tibet that happen to be wonderful examples of beautiful architecture.

The Buddhist wheel

The Buddhist wheel has two Dragons. This can be seen on almost every Gompa in Tibet. Now you may be wondering what a ‘Gompa’ is. A Gompa is also called as Gling. The literal meaning of Gompa is a remote place.

The Tibetan Chortens

The designs of the Tibetan Chortens were unforgettable. There were roundish walls in Kham. Khan is a place in Tibet. It is located in its historical region. Chortens are another name given to Stupas. Along with roundish walls, there were squarish walls with 4 sides and Ladakh.

The South Facing Houses

Generally, in India, people prefer north-facing or East facing houses but in Tibet, most of the houses and monasteries were made in the manner that they face the south direction. Most of the monasteries and houses were located on sunny sites. The houses and the monasteries are made out of a mixture of wood, Earth, cement, and rocks. The roofs of the houses are flat and they have been constructed in the manner that they can conserve heat. There are so many windows to the houses to permit the sunlight to come inside.

Potala Palace

Potala Palace cannot be forgotten when we are talking about the architecture of Tibet. Potala Palace was also popular as the residence of the Dalai Lama. If anyone of you does not know who the lie Lama is, please note that Dalai Lama is a title given to the most important spiritual leader of the ‘Yellow Hat’ School of Tibetan Buddhism. It is given by the Tibetan people. Different people own the title of Dalai Lama. It has over 1,000 rooms and 13 stories. There is a single-track railway line that links the Twin town to the trans-Mongolian Railway. It was inaugurated in the year 1977. Its length is 120 km. The most surprising thing to know about this railway track is that 50% of the inhabitants worked as miners or engineers who contributed in the construction of this single track Railway. Today there are only 10% of citizens of Mongolia are Russians.

Beautiful places in the Twin town

There are many beautiful places in the Twin town like the fraternity monument, residential area with LDS Church, the city center, the main street, new Buddha statue, the market in the center, typical residential area in the west of Erdenet and amusement park. We could cover some of the places only. There are many other tourist spots in the Twin town and it was a great time. There are national parks and many other places where the guide took us and we were having a lot of fun. It is highly recommended that you visit the city of Erdenet in Mongolia if you visit there.

Our experience of Twin town in Mongolia on Mongolia holiday package was very different and full of learning. My entire family enjoyed a lot and we are also planning to come here again. It is more difficult to understand the truth that is beyond the senses. Then Gautam Buddha explains that he had given up the extremes of luxury and he developed the middle way. On this middle way, there is neither the rich Prince nor an ordinary man living in austere conditions. This melted the hearts of those 5 men and they became the disciples of Gautama Buddha.

Best time to visit Bodh Gaya

The best time to visit Bodh Gaya is during the full moon in the month of Vaishakh according to Hindu calendar. Vaishakh could be April or May according to the English calendar. This full moon day is celebrated as Buddha Purnima in Bodh Gaya. Both the tourist and the local people visit Mahabodhi complex on Buddha Purnima. The aura and atmosphere of this place bring a lot of peace and prosperity in the lives of people. The importance of visiting Bodh Gaya at this time is extremely high.

Turkish rule

It is due to sulfate and sodium ions. There are around 29 species of fish in this lake. When you go between October and May to visit this lake, you will find that it has got frozen. There are many parts in the surroundings of this lake that have been declared as protected sites. There is a cluster of protected sites. These clusters are 12 in number. The UNESCO is calling all the 12 sites together as Uvs Lake site.

Rinpung Dzong on Nepal Tibet Bhutan tour

Ringtone song is a very large Buddhist monastery. I am highly influenced by Buddhism. It was a dream come true moment when I visited Rinpung Dzong on Nepal Tibet Bhutan tour. National Museum of Bhutan

There is Deyangkha temple outside the main monastery. This monastery was built in the year 1649 and the year 1968, it was established as the home of the National Museum of Bhutan. It is located in the Paro district in the west of Bhutan. The Annual Festival

This king established the new capital in Beijing. This city in English is called the Karakoram. Since it was a capital city, it was a political, administrator economic and religious center. Some important features

There is a wall that surrounds the city. This wall is of 400 meters square. The city earlier had four stone turtles. There was a lot of respect to these turtles. It means that they thought the element of water which is very necessary for life has a spirit that is represented by a turtle. The city after the attack

Everything over here has been protected very nicely since 1961. There was a very important discovery of 230 coins by the archaeologists in the ruins of the city. These 230 coins are from 10 different countries.

The Attractions

There are many tourist attractions in the City like Erdene Zuu Khid that is a 16^th-century monastery, an impressive museum, the lakes of Nauman Nuur, Hilltop monastery that is secluded, Orkhan Khurkree waterfall, Tovkhon Khiid, Rocky nature reserve, sand dunes known as Mongol Els, etc. All these tourist attractions will justify your going for a visit to this place on Mongolia holiday package. It was a very different experience of visiting this city of Karakoram. Many new things were learned by us and I heartily wish to visit the place again. The arrangements also were nice to make us pretty comfortable. I took my family with me and it was a great experience to visit this city and we all would love to come here again and have more fun. The common element while visiting any of the Buddhist countries is the peace of mind.
